Proverbs 13:22
The good man here does not necessarily mean that the man should be rich.

The door that a good name can open, riches might not open it.
If as a father, you do something wrong whether now or later, it will affect your children, same for the mother.
If you are a man after God’s heart, carry everyone in your house along

Rahab and Ruth became Jews by adoption.
Naomi adopted Ruth as her daughter in law.
God is more interested in your follow up.

Love is not talk, Love is action
If you say you love God, love him with your HEART and MIND.
We are going to look at the family of Job.

Job 1
Did Job have faith? Yes

Could he had transferred the faith? Yes

Did he transfer the faith? No
Job was a man of Righteousness.
He was a man that hated evil with passion.
He had seven sons and three daughters but they did not have his kind of Spirit.
If you get it right in your house, you will not have to go to the mountain to pray
If your children suffer long before they succeed, you too will suffer and die.
But if they succeed early, you will only suffer for a very short while.
Let us as a family serve the Lord.
The hardship can be terminated if any of your child gets breakthrough in time even as a child.
As a family, never serve God leaving your family.

Carry everybody along.
Every great man in the Bible made the mistake of not carrying their families along.
The mistake the World is facing today was caused by Sarah.
She influenced Abraham to sleep with his female servant, Hagai who gave birth to Ishmael, who was the father of Muslim.
Abraham caused the bitterness between Muslims and Christains.
May God not allow us to make mistakes that will destroy us now and destroy generations in future.
As husbands, wives and children, carry each other along.
Everything is programmes against you as a man to die on time. Unless you use your sense to make yourself lived longer.
As a man, you must not be careless.
Put your house in order
There is a very important reason why God made you a man; He made you a man to put things in order around you.
Blessed is that man that has the cooperation of his wife. More blessed is the man who has the cooperation of his wife and children

You are treading a dangerous path living with a wife that is un cooperative and rebellious children
Job 1:4
Job’s children were extravagant and threw parties anyhow.
Why would Job be a man be a righteous man and tolerate the wayward life of his children?
Job lost everything he had in what day.
Job had Faith

Job’s possession was not money, children or animals, Job’s possession was FAITH
Can you serve God for nothing?
You and I know that We are serving God for something.
If you are not serving God because you need money,husband, wife, success and you are serving God genuinely, He will give you those things you did not ask for.

You must come to a point in your life where nothing means anything to you.
Job 2
Why did Satan spare Job’s wife?

He did not kill Job’s wife so that he can use her to torment Job
Sometimes we speak out of foolishness.
Words spoken cannot be retracted.
When God wanted to restore the children Job lost, He did not use his evil wife, he used another woman called Diana.
How can somebody’s wife, in his sickness, ask him to curse God and die?
It doesn’t make sense God
And we know cursing God means you are going straight to Hell.
Every talk against your husband’s authority makes you as a good as Job’s wife.
Wives, don’t push your husband into evil.
There are some people that shouldn’t be in your life.
These people shouldn’t be in your future.
God will not allow your family to run amok
Let’s get our family involved.
It is more interesting if a wife goes on three days dry fast so her husband can prosper in his business than for a wife to be complaining because he didn’t bring money home.

We should teach our children
Now that they are on holiday, create time to teach them.
The Devil knew where to find Job’s children.

He knew they would be partying with their friends

They all died in their sins making them Hell – bound.
Apparently, Job’s sacrifices did not prevent their death.

What was needed was Obedience not sacrifice.
What would you rather have?

Children’s whose lives are straight and set in the Lord?

Or

Children who are rebellious?
