True Christianity isn’t about showmanship, it’s not about what’s in public. Some are quite big in public, but very little in secret. True Christianity is about doing good in secret. When you go to feed the poor and you have a camera crew behind you that’s not Christianity, that is hypocrisy. Serving God an going to church aren’t the same thing! You need to build up the pillars of your christian life, examples of such pillars are;
1. Prayer
2. Studying and Meditating on the word
2. Fellowship
etc…
The devil shouldn’t know the scripture more than you do! You have to be strong and rooted in the word and other pillars of your spiritual life, if the devil tempted Jesus , he can tempt you too!
We live in a time where people outsource their spiritual work to the pastors and prophets of God. The faith that is transferable must be in you.
Isaiah 60 vs 1 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”
No matter how thick the darkness is, a flicker of light can still penetrate through it. Shine wherever you are. No matter where you find yourselves, try your best with the help of the spirit to shine bright for the glory of God.
“You are brighter and more useful at your level than the ones who are ‘anointed’ but are off”
2 Timothy 1:5 – “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. “
Your faith is transferable to those around you, your light extends to those around you. When your light already shines bright at the altar of God, no one will throw advances at you. No one will throw advances at you when you are already useful to another altar. As a parent, there is no legacy you can pass to your children that will be more than yours. Drag them to church, as long as they are present the presence of the lord will rub off on them, and they will become better over time.
How is faith transferable ?
Association : Mingling with the wrong people will have adverse affects on you, you can’t go out with someone bad constantly and expect to be good. Your associations make or mar you. take heed, any friend that uses their achievements to mock or intimidate you, cut them off. Acts 4:13 – When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. Those men were around Jesus so long they started to be like him. If you spend time associating with the spirit of God you will also become more spirit like and more Christ like automatically.
Impartation : 1 Timothy 4:14 – Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. Simply put, for you to be able to transfer that faith, you have to own it.
